2012 Workshops Schedule
All workshops are open to only 10 students so there is ample room and everyone has their own worktable. Every workshop will have a one-hour lunch break and students can bring a lunch or go out. Please call for workshop space availability.

Art Journals can be visual diaries, places to keep memories and document dreams, places for new technique and supply experimentation. You may want to use an art journal to document a journey - travel or another experience. Art journals provide a place to think clearly, express your feelings, thoughts, and experiences and without judgment. This workshop is an introduction to basic techniques of art journaling. It is about discovery - experimenting with new mediums and surface design - what works and what doesn't. We will experiment with acrylic and watercolor paints; crayons, markers, rubber stamps, while incorporating ephemera and magazine pictures. You will learn the art mediums you like and want to explore; and what kind of journal that works best for you!
